Hello Fellow Historians,
If you are like me, your attic (or any other storage destination) is filled with boxes that contain “stuff” from the past. Maybe your children’s precious drawings from grade school, or memorabilia from your college days, or anything else you’ve packed away and saved. During its time, these things were part of the family; pictures on the refrigerator, trinkets on shelves. Why not drag out a box and make it part of the family again…if just for a little bit. Instead of plopping on the couch, put the box on the kitchen table and start unpacking. You’ll draw out the other family members and before long conversations will begin and stories will be shared.
